It’s World Book Day! International Women’s Day is also only a few days away. Shulph is joining others around the world to celebrate, but we are doing it a little bit differently.
As a technology company, we want to attract more women to the field of technology and encourage them to choose careers in STEM. This World Book Day and International Women’s Day, we are inviting 50 women to each pick any one book from our technology category, in a tech book giveaway.
The world is held back by the loss of potential contributions that more of its women could be making through science, technology and business.
Several studies show that businesses that have more women leaders thrive better than those with less. Can you imagine how different the world would be, if we could replicate this across the board?
If you’re a woman, looking to switch careers into technology, or have been in technology for less than 3 years, consider this a nudge to give your professional education a small boost. From today (March 5 2020) till the 50 slots run out, our entire technology books catalog is open to you to choose any one book that interests you, at no charge – packaging and shipping, included.
The first 50 eligible participants will receive any one technology book of her choosing from Shulph’s catalog.
Eligiblity criteria
In order to be eligible, you need to:
- Be female
- Be at least 18 years old by the time you apply
- Be resident in the United Kingdom
- Have had no commercial experience in technology or less than 3 years of commercial experience in a technology career

Send an email to tech50@shulph.com, and include the following details in your message;
- A link to your LinkedIn profile
- Tell us what technology subjects you might be interested in.
Books will be given to eligible participants on a first come, first served basis. This event will last for as long as the 50 slots last.
